PET PHOTOS FOR PET BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

Do you celebrate your dog’s birthday? If you do, you are most definitely not alone! I’ve heard that approximately 45% of dog owners pawty up a storm!!  We most definitely do, in fact our Pug Bodie just turned 14 and we celebrated with cake and cute outfits and yes, there will be a zoom party shared with some of his best friends! 

So the question is, if you celebrate in such a cute way would you consider hiring a professional photographer to document the day? We lost our old pug Spanky a couple of years ago and we say constantly how grateful we feel to have such great photographs of his daily life, but especially his birthdays and special occasions! We will always be able to look back and remember these fun days!

You could go a couple of ways really. You could use a professional dog photographer on a quiet day and organise some favourite outfits and a cake. That way you can pose everything up exactly how you would like it. Perhaps take the photo session on location to a favourite place for extra special pictures. There are a lot of dog cake companies these days - a recent favourite of ours is Okra and Molly. They ship! The other way to go documenting your pups big day is to actually hire your pet photographer on the day of your party! Prior to Covid we would have fun parties for the pugs with hats and cakes, the works! We’ve even taken them on Party busses in Nashville!! It is often chaotic and hard to plan anything if you choose this route but wow, the candid shots can be great! Dogs digging into the cake, interacting with one another and generally having a fabulous time!!! 

So we would definitely recommend that you consider hiring a professional Dog photographer to help you celebrate your best friend’s birthday. You won’t be sorry - what could be more fun than a giant canvas of a dog party on your living room wall!? We think it would be just brilliant, what about you?
